Craig Burgess

Vice President of Trucking

Craig Burgess serves as Vice President of Trucking at BRW, bringing more than 30 years of transportation and operational leadership experience to the organization. Since joining BRW in 1993, Craig has been instrumental in the growth and stability of the company’s trucking operations, helping build a strong operational foundation centered on safety, service, and reliability.

A graduate of Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Craig began his career at BRW as a Fleet Manager and advanced through multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Throughout his tenure, he has played a key role in strengthening fleet performance, developing operational processes, and mentoring generations of leaders and drivers across the organization.

Craig is widely recognized for his servant-leadership approach and his belief that success begins with investing in people. He is committed to fostering a collaborative environment where employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to perform at their best. His steady leadership and deep institutional knowledge continue to support BRW’s commitment to operational excellence and integrity-driven service.

Craig resides in Southside Alabama, and enjoys spending time with his family. He is especially proud of his eight great-nieces and nephews and enjoys attending their sporting events and school activities whenever possible.
