Known for his team-first mentality and results-driven approach, Derek has held diverse roles spanning business development, operations, strategic planning, security and administration. His ability to connect organizations and drive growth has been instrumental in achieving strategic, operational and revenue milestones across all business units.

Specializing in the government and defense markets, Derek has successfully led divisions within organizations that have generated more than $100 million in annual revenue. His expertise extends to working with industry-leading owner-operator, asset and brokerage companies, including Mercer Transportation, Bennett Motor Express, Bennett Heavy & Specialized and Ace Doran. His contributions have consistently delivered innovative solutions and exceptional performance.

Derek resides in Tyrone, GA, with his wife, Kristen, and their two children, Mason and Avery. When he’s not working, Derek enjoys traveling, sporting events and playing golf.
